I did use the colors of the adult hair texture if the child hair had the same mesh (like the Paranormal Hairs). The colors of the hairs are a little bit off than the adult versions of the hair. Some things to take notes: I never made CC before so it may be imperfect. So I went through all the hairs and recolored them. Wanting the fun unnatural hair colors of the adults to be genetic for your sims? Same.
